Atlas CrossFit was founded in the summer of 2009 with daily workouts outside at the Chicago Avenue Track.  We have grown tremendously a little over 2 years and now have a facility in the heart of River North.  CrossFit was built organically with a garage gym mindset and community at its foundation.  Atlas strives to maintain these organic roots with small intimate classes and opportunities to build strong relationships through a passion for fitness and living a healthier life.

A majority of our training focuses on the CrossFit “WOD” = Workout of the Day.

Atlas is unique in our offerings in that we also offer a variety specialty classes to maximize your training experience.

Specialty classes include:

  • TRX – suspension training and plyometric intervals
  • Speed360 – increase your ability to move explosively in every direction
  • CrossFit Interval – Atlas signature class – 45 minutes of high-intensity intervals with low-load functional exercises.
  • Mobility – improve performance and prevent injury
  • CrossFit Skills – focuses on technique for daily lift or skill followed by intense 20min Endurance WOD.
  • OLY Fundamentals – CrossFit class emphasizing Olympic Lifts & Skills
